While on a training exercise, Army infantry officer David Morehouse, was shot in the head. His helmet saved his life, but he would never be the same person--he was changed for life. His psychic abilities blossomed and developed in both good and bad ways. He started experiencing horrible nightmares, while developing the ability that would make him a candidate as a government "remote viewer" in the super secret Sun Streak program (later known as Stargate).

This is the most exciting book I've (Byron) read in quite awhile. Although at times it seems like it might be a fictional story, David's sincerity comes through and I honestly believe what he's saying. This is the first book I've read about remote viewing and it won't be the last. David's story and what "our government" did to discredit him is almost unbelievable. This book is described as "A Real Life X-Files."

As the story progresses you will discover what caused the so-called "Desert Storm Syndrome" and how our government knows what is causing it, and why Korean flight KAL 007 was off course and shot down by soviet fighters.

David recognizes the potential for remote viewing to help mankind, and not be just used as a "spy" tool. His, and another remote viewer's, awareness led to actions that caused him to lose his military career, all his military benefits, and put his and his family's lives in danger--as the government spy network felt threatened.

This one is definitely worth reading; whether for the action packed intrigue or the information about remote viewing.
