FOOD STORAGE TIPS:
- Avoid exposure to heat and moisture. Make sure foods are not accessible to insects and animals.
- Never store food directly on the ground or on concrete floors - moisture can build up inside the containers.
- Avoid storage areas that experience temperature build-up, such as a attics, garages, or car trunks. Ideally, storage for food should not exceed room temperature for extended periods of time. Store in a location that is accessible so that periodic inspections are made easy.
