AM/FM/SW/VHF and Weather Band

This is a versatile multi-powered, multi-band radio. It has the normal AM/FM bands plus four shortwave (SW) bands, VHF, TV (audio only), and weather band. It can be operated directly off sunlight (solar panel), the internal Nickel Metallic Hydride (Ni-MH) battery, normal household current (110 VAC), or 3-AA (alkaline) batteries. The internal Ni-MH battery can be recharged from a built-in solar panel, the hand crank dynamo, or from the AC charger/adapter. The VHF bands allow you to access the National Weather Service (NOAA), radio broadcast from foreign countries, taxi cabs, police, fire, ambulance, as well as the normal AM/FM radio and TV stations. Includes an earplug, AC adapter, and soft (wire clip-on) antenna. A low battery LED (light emitting diode) tells you when the battery charge is getting low. A tuning LED helps locate stations. When using the dynamo (crank): one minutes of turning will provide approximately ten minutes of playing time. The approximate size is 6-1/2" wide by 5-1/2" high by 2-3/4" deep. SW4: 15-18 Mhz AM foreign, amateur
