The Hinderer rescue knife was designed by a firefighter, to incorporate the best and most often used tools of the trade into a single function rich knife. Larger profile design make using the tool easier even when wearing protective gloves.
The Rescue Knife incorporates all of these features into a single tool:
-Large mounting clip for different carrying options.
-Oversized thumb stud for one hand opening
-Flip -out hook cutter with safety recessed edge to cut webbing , belts etc.
-built -in Glass Punch in handle
-O2 tank opening slot
-3.5" serrated edge stainleess steel blade with dulled tip for safety in use.

The knife comes with a 9 piece tool kit ( 3 slot, 3 phillips, and 3 hex nut driver tips and a wrench to turn them. All of this fits into a compact deluxe black Nylon sheath( included) which has velcro/snap top closing flaps and adustable belt mounting loop for horizontal or vertical carry. Knife/tool has ergonomic red sure grip handle.
No ordinary knife, this tool is infinitely useful in work and outdoor environments.
